Murshidabad has a glorious spread of crumbling monuments, many of them over 500 years old, but among my favorite shots of the ones I took there is of this perfectly ordinary street with thrown together concrete structures where a guy in a yellow pullover cycles between the yellow colored buildings. A group of women chat in the background in the distant left corner of the image and colorful clothes are put to dry in the houses above.
Some of the best shots happen purely through dumb luck.
